Many people comment, on this blog and in real life, how Everly appears to be a very quiet little girl. I'm here to tell you, it's all a façade! This photo truly captures how my daughter is 95% of the time, when in the familiar company of close family and friends... crazy, wild, never-has-her-mouth-shut LOUD! (mid-air jumping off a step onto the grass, screaming in delight).

DeleteI love how through this project we can capture snippets of their personality that we might otherwise have forgotten about a year or so down the line. I'm managing to record a story with each of my portraits (unintentionally) and that's what's making me very happy - little stories that I'll now remember. A gorgeous portrait Jess.

Every week I have lovely photos of Everly smiling that I could use, but instead I choose the one that tells a story about my little girl, of all her traits and personalities. It's a great project. I'm looking forward to seeing them all rounded up at the end of the year!
